The Institute Research Council under the Chairmanship of Director, ICAR-NISST, coordinates the entire research agenda of the institute. The key functions of Institute Research Committee (IRC) are to critically review the on-going and completed research projects, to consider the new need based research proposals and to advise on fostering of linkages between the groups/divisions of the institute in respect of multidisciplinary/multi-locational projects.
