Quality Seed Production in ICAR-IISS, Mau Farm: During rabi, 2023-24, 199.09q of Breeder seed wheat was produced at ICAR-IISS, Mau, Farm that consists of three varieties (HD 3249, DBW 187, DBW 222) and 34.2q of HD2967 and HD 303 of foundation seed production.  2087.5 q quality seed of three varieties (HD 2967, HD 3249 and DBW 187) was produced under farmers participatory seed production programme. In addition to this 2.46q of pulses and 1.82q of mustard seed were produced at ICAR-IISS, Mau farm under the pulse seed hub project, during rabi, 2023-24. In addition to this, 78.42q quality seed of chickpea (Pusa 3043) was produced at a farmer’s field. During zaid 2024, 1.10q of quality seed of summer mung bean (HUM 16) was produced under the pulse seed hub project. During kharif 2024, 371.8q of quality seed of paddy was produced at ICARIISS, Mau, farm that consists of five varieties (MTU-7029, BPT-5204, Rajendra sweta, Improved PB-1 and Kiran).
