Research Accomplishments (5 best):

  1. Delineated the inheritance pattern of aleurone layer colour through chemical tests in rice.
  2. The chemical combinations for enhancing the outcrossing and seed set in finger millet partial male sterile line PS-1.
  • Mapped QTLs governing high seed vigour characters in rice.
  1. Mapped QTLs governing seed longevity in soybean
  2. Identified some highly promising rice accessions on the basis of their performance for various seed yield component and biotic stress resistance in rice.
