  1. As a lead developer 9 genetic stocks were developed for biscuit quality, biofortification, bread making, protein, and drought tolerance and used in national wheat hybridization program. Co-developed 6 biofortified wheat varieties (DBW 173, DBW 303, DDW 48, DBW 332, DDW 47, and DBW 327) for various quality attributes.
  2. Forty-one genomic regions including 10 stable and their best combination in PBW827 were identified for yellow rust and stem rust.
  3. Xbarc186 and Xbarc74 for GFeC and Xgwm3, Xwms149 and Xgwm538 for GZnC are validated & suitable for marker assisted biofortification mainstreaming.
  4. Molecular profiling of sugarcane germplasm for Bru1 gene and identification of novel genes for brown rust in Bru1 null background.
  5. Well-known putative genes like LEA-18, C3H4 type Zinc Finger, NAC domain, lateral organ boundaries, serine threonine protein kinase, expansin, Exo70 involved in various developmental pathways were identified.

  1. As a lead developer 9 genetic stocks (QLD120, QLD121, QLD112, QLD84, QLD118, QLD122, QLD102, QLD11, and QST1910) for biscuit quality, biofortification, bread making, protein, and drought tolerance were developed.
  2. DDW47: A wheat variety released by CVRC for timely sown restricted irrigated conditions of central zone. DDW 47 is the lndia’s first high yielding durum wheat genotype having very high yellow pigment and also pasta quality score. Since pasta industry has high demand for high yellow pigment wheats.
  3. DBW 168: A wheat variety released by CVRC for timely sown conditions of Peninsular India. It has a very unique feature of soft grains and is highly suitable for quality purposes, especially for biscuit making.
  4. Co-developed 6 biofortified wheat varieties (DBW 173, DBW 303, DDW 48, DBW 332, DDW 47 and DBW 327) for various quality attributes.
  5. R Package: CANE: Comprehensive Groups Of Experiments Analysis For Numerous Environments developed by Vinayaka, T Lakshmi Pathy, K Gopalareddy, Shweta Kumari, Murali, P. Govindaraj P. Rama Chandra Prasad, L.N. Vinaykumar in 2025. 10.32614/CRAN.package.CANE
