  3. 70 farmer’s training programmes on “Quality seed production” were organised (4 days each) with a financial outlay of Rs. 71 lakh which is benefited 1500 farmers of Gujarat.

  1. Optimization of trailing method for hybrid seed production Bottle gourd hybrid to get higher seed yield and net profit per hectare with better seed germination and vigour.
  2. Standardization of magnetic field effect for cumin and onion seeds to improve the germination and seedling vigour
  3. Senna (Senna alexandrina Mill) seeds should be mechanically scarified for 2 to 3 minutes followed by seed priming treatment with Bio NPK (5ml/kg seeds for 3 hours soaking) for getting higher seed germination percent and seedling vigour
  4. Seed producer of Gujarat Anand Okra 8 (Anand Komal) should harvest the okra fruits at 60-65 days after fruit formation with 20 number of fruits retention per plant for higher germination (as per Indian minimum seed certification standards) and higher seed yield under the middle Gujarat condition.
